Baby A, Dress Blues & Macadamia Nuts | Rochester NY Newborn Photography

Just in time for Veteran's Day, I'm so pleased to share this recent newborn session with the most lovely family. Wyeth and Jenn are transplants from Hawaii, who are living in Rochester while Wyeth serves as a recruiter with the Marines. Baby A was just two weeks old when these photos were taken, and already clearly the apple of her parents' and grandparents' eyes. Wyeth's parents were visiting from Hawaii, and we spent the morning listening to classical music  and laughing as I had Wyeth's Dad Rudy stand-in as my photo assistant and master baby whisperer. Wyeth obligingly donned his dress blues and camouflage for a few photos, and they ended up being some of my favorites.

Someone must have told them that the way to the best photos is through my stomach, because Wyeth's parents even brought me some chocolate-covered Macadamia nuts straight from Hawaii! A beautiful baby, loving parents and grandparents, a light-filled apartment, music and chocolate? Can it get any better than that?

As I share these photos, today happens to be Veteran's Day. Thank you to Wyeth, Rudy, and all the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces, past and present. We are so grateful to you for protecting the citizens of this country, big and small.
