I love Autumn. I know maybe it’s a strange statement to make when Spring is in bloom, but seriously. Give me golden leaves, pumpkins, bonfires and a chill in the air, and I’m a happy camper (actually I hate camping, so I’d be a miserable camper. But you know what I mean.). So trust me when I say that the portrait session I’m sharing today was pretty much my Superbowl (another thing I love about Autumn! Football!). We had perfectly golden autumn leaves, pumpkins, hay bales, and I even got to go home with cider and donuts. Oh Autumn, I love you.
This is another family I’ve been photographing since before they were even a family! It’s so exciting when I get to photograph a client multiple times - the results only get better as I get to know each family member and their distinct personalities.
We started the day just after sunrise on top of the big hill in Ellison Park. After playing at the park for awhile, we decided to go to a local farm market to check out the pumpkins. This little boy’s mind was totally blown at all the Autumn goodness we saw that day. I know buddy, I feel the same way.
